High Winds and Weather Advisory

We want to inform you about significant weather conditions expected in our area over the next 48 hours. The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning and a Red Flag Warning, with northeast winds of 30–40 mph and gusts up to 65 mph anticipated from 4:00 PM today through 2:00 PM Wednesday. 

To ensure the safety of our students, staff, and facilities, the District has implemented precautionary measures, including:

• Securing Outdoor Areas: Loose equipment, furniture, and temporary structures such as umbrellas and canopies have been secured or moved indoors.

• Adjustments to Outdoor Activities: Schools are reviewing and modifying outdoor activities, such as recess and physical education, to prioritize safety.

• Facility Inspections: All campus facilities have been inspected to secure gates, doors, and other structures.

The District will continue to monitor weather updates from the National Weather Service and communicate any additional information if conditions change.
